Black Lives Matter ALL the time. Not just when Black people get murdered.
White supremacy is the fear of Black advancement. Many people in America have devoted centuries of thought, wealth, and political power to undermining things like the education system, health care system, justice system, and banking system. These things keep White people down too, but these people keep doing them because they’ve found ways to use them to keep Black people down even more.
Black Lives Matter means Black people deserve to thrive. And that we all deserve to thrive, which we can’t do as long as we keep investing our efforts into keeping other people down.
