Christmas in the Trenches by John McCutcheon

Merry Christmas! Here’s some music about history (which they don’t tell us about in school). On Christmas Eve of 1914, all over Europe, soldiers called off the war for a night, met each other in No Man’s Land, and celebrated Christmas together. The night began with the soldiers from both sides singing Christmas carols together.
